About LOOΠΔ
LOOΠΔ is a girl group under Blockberry Creative that debuted August 20th 2018. The direct translation of their name is 'Girl of the Month'/'This Month's Girl (이달의 소녀). The english version of their name Loona is derived from this:
이달의 소녀 - ㅇㄷㅇㅅㄴ- LOOΠΔ - LOONA
The group consists of 12 girls with each girl releasing a solo when they are revealed. Each girl represents a month, color, and animal. There are also subunits in between solos and member releases with the 1st subunit, Loona 1/3, consisting of Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, and Vivi, the 2nd subunit, Loona Odd Eye Circle, consisting of Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry, and the 3rd subunit, Loona yyxy, consisting of Yves, Chuu, Go Won, and Olivia Hye.
As each member is revealed they slowly help build the "LOONAVERSE", a complex web of stories between the girls that all connect. Even after debut the LOONAVERSE continues to grow and expand with each release.
Now that all 12 girls are revealed Loona is complete and has debuted as a full group. Even though the full group has debuted there still is a possibility for more units and collaborations between the members.
